The one we went to , I have forgotten its name- the experience was mind boggling that people are living in such conditions. The tour guides were awesome and made the experience real. The only issue I have is the advertisement. You advertised as "townships " but we only saw one . When we asked the tour guides they said the other townships are not safe . So please change the ad and people who want to visit it will still do. Thanks - Veronica

At my third day in Cape Town enjoining the penguins at boulders beach I got really irritated that I only saw white people. Despite of some warnings not going into the townships I booked this tour. It was really an eye opener. Apartheid and the consequences still have a big impact on the black or mixed communities. Our driver and our guide shared a lot of insights and personal experiences and thoughts and I had the feeling to ask very open even critical questions. During the whole time we felt safe being in the community. We got an insight into the different housing and living conditions and the strong bond within the community. I my opinion tourists should see both sides of South Africa. The beauty and easy living downtown and the townships. I recommend to go to the ,,District six" museum and joining the Apartheid- Tour offered my free city tour before going to the township tour to understand the historical background. - Stefanie

Vi var bare 3-4 dager i Cape Town, men er glad vi prioriterte a bli med pa guidet omvisning i Cape Towns eldste township Langa. Guiden var bor selv i Langa, og gav oss et veldig godt innblikk i historien, dagliglivet der og hvordan det er a bo i Langa. Dette er en viktig del av Sor-Afrikas historie, som ikke ma bli glemt. - Eva
